Emergency Broadband Benefit Information

Kokomo School Corporation officials wish to inform our families of the FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program to support access to internet during the COVID-19 pandemic. The EBB program provides up to $50.00 per month per household towards home internet costs. These funds are sent directly to the internet provider. For a list of eligible providers in Kokomo, click here:  Eligible Providers

Kokomo School Corporation elementary and middle school students participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) meal program, which makes emergency broadband benefits available for all families with Pre-K through 8th grade students.  Families with high school students participating in the free/reduced meal program also are eligible. Select the “Free and Reduced Price School Lunch or Breakfast Program” option; then enter the name of your student’s school in the school field and Kokomo School Corporation in the school district field.

If your family is interested in receiving these benefits, choose one of the three methods to apply listed here, and then please follow the instructions:
  1. Contact your preferred participating broadband provider directly to learn about their application process.
  2. Go to https://getemergencybroadband.org/ to apply online and confirm participating providers in your area.
  3. Your family also can enroll by mail.  Call 833-511-0311 for a mail-in application and return it along with copies of documents showing proof of eligibility:
